This is how you do a family session! I normally don't post an entire gallery, but I cannot help myself - I love every single image.
Rachel contacted me before the summer to set up a session. Life got in the way, and the summer heat dampened the desire to head outside to take photos, so we patiently waited for the weather to turn cooler and schedule this session. Man, did it pay off. This family showed up ready to rock their session - stylish clothing, great attitudes, willing to be fun and silly, adventurous, plus winning smiles all around! They now have beautiful, genuine, family memories that will look great on the wall, and be treasured for many years to come. This is how you do a family session! I normally don't post an entire gallery, but I cannot help myself - I love every single image.

Daddy hung the moon for the little girl in this family. Mom and Dad were awesome and really had fun with the efforts to make little miss smile. Beautiful family!
Met this lovely family in downtown Fort Worth at the T&P lofts for a fun session, while everyone was in town to celebrate a birthday. Never stop taking family photos - even when the kids are grown - adult family sessions are just as important!
Adore this family and their sweet, beautiful girls. They are fun, happy, outgoing and just a pleasure to work with!
This session was headed no where fast...as I pulled out and drove down my street, the skies started to open up, so I quickly turned around and grabbed the umbrellas - hoping it was just going to be a little sprinkle. Then, I was running late due to traffic around an accident on my route to the location & a street festival with lots of pedestrian crossings, plus, it started pouring rain (despite the weather app indicating it wasn't going to rain until way later). I was sure this wasn't going to go well, if we were able to do it at all.
Despite all of that, this session turned out great, and contains some of my new favorite NDP images. A big thank you to this fun, easy-going family that braved the rain to create some beautiful photos! These siblings had not seen each other in years and it was my pleasure to capture the moment for them. They told me stories from their youth, about growing up on a farm in Colorado and who the mischief maker was when they were young. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know this family.
I hate that this family had to wait so long to get their family photo completed, but I am so glad I was the one who had the pleasure of working with this sweet family. Two beautiful boys and a lovable a pup, made the session so fun!
Man o'man do I love this family! Had such a great time swapping family photo time with this awesome family and the talented Mrs. Stephanie Murphree.
